The trade began with a 30 minute wait outside of La Super Rica Taqueria followed by tears of joy as the best tacos in Santa Barbara uncurled over my taste buds. The trades that involve the food culture somehow always end up with me writing about tastes, over indulgence and my favourite dish... This one is no exception.

The Pixel Trade was to photograph my perspective of Santa Barbara and Ron’s Arlington Tavern, a food kingdom for any person who lives on this planet. I was guided around town by Mr Peter Cortez (trade XLVI), a food guru and taco master. As I said above we ate so much food that I had micro siestas driving from one location to another. If you like mac and cheese and live within 15,000 miles of Santa Barbara, you need to go and order 3 from Arlington Tavern before the week is up.
