Lucas Jacometti, pastor
Annie Jacometti, real estate consultant
Both Lucas and Annie are pastors for the C3 church in Hobart, but if you think this trade stops there then you’ve got another thing coming. Annie is also a real estate consultant at the top end of the property market and Lucas is continually delving into entrepreneurial projects in the most selfless manner one can. Ranging from schools in Africa to building small sustainable businesses for Indian communities, he introduced me to the concept of thinking beyond the ‘small world’. It’s made me start wondering about how an idea can benefit the most amount of people possible, rather than just yourself.
The Pixel Trade was equally as intricate. Photographing their church was part of this trade but the majority took place in the midlands of Tasmania at the Bronte Park Village. Surrounded by lakes and forests, I felt like a dinosaur before the rock fell from the sky: the only difference was I couldn’t catch fish with my mouth, but that’s probably why fly fishing was introduced to the area. Picture that Tyrannosaurus Rex with a rod and some bait. Not happening.
