Sharm Schaffler, BHD Australia director (USA)

This trade began in Australia with the ‘dog and pony show’ shoot and concluded in Los Angeles. Sharm is spreading the eagle wings of BHD Australia, a family business that has been established for over 20 years. He was extremely helpful when the airlines thought my bags might like to take a vacation in Sydney before arriving in the USA…a week later. 

The Pixel Trade was focused on making a film for the Arts Awards where BHD has been nominated for best home textiles manufacture in USA. The film shows mixed footage from Australia, India (2010) and the USA. It incorporates some stop animation, resulting in Sharm having to leave the frame after every shot. Welcome to the USA.
