Craig Martin, illustrator/artist

Craig Martin is an illustrator/artist living in Sydney and producing work that should not be categorised into a specific medium. He has a morning routine, most days, and from the short opportunity to trade with him I only had the ability to touch the oceans surface of how interesting a life he lives. Not only galleries and exhibitions take up his time, there is a whole lot more.

The Pixel Trade was a short one day venture. Craig was painting a piece inspired by a brief I gave him surrounding The Pixel Trade. In return the day was spent photographing and filming his work and the illustration he was working on for the trade. The piece he did is the final Image in the ‘trade’ photographs. His interpretation was the changing of furniture settings I experience from one person to the next. Watching an artist work is incredibly inspiring.
