You know when a trade starts off with the arrival at a property followed immediately by an invitation to climb into ‘the land shark’ (Damien’s automobile) to go shopping for whatever supplies you want, it’s going to be an unreal experience. Damien is a man that becomes an instant friend with anyone that walks into his life. His partner Liz has the mind of a top academic and as a result of trading with these two the development of ideas for this project has been boosted to the next level, the sort of level you’d label as a lookout point for the world.

The Pixel Trade was to photograph ‘Viria’ an amazing abode located on a spectacular property in Currumbin Valley. They want to offer this place for accommodation to people getting married or anyone else who’d appreciate being close to civilisation in terms of distance, but mentally as far removed as possible. The other part was to photograph some of the beauty the valley has to offer, national parks, rock pools and mountain voyages.
