City College San Francisco
The Fort Mason Center is a campus buzzing with creatives who use their hands and adaptable minds to create what the world knows as one of the most valuable things to humanity, art. Unfortunately whilst so many realise the importance of art, a few people wearing black hats choose to ignore this and attempt to cut funding to the point where the artists can no longer practice their craft, because there will no longer be an environment for them to practice in.
The Pixel Trade was to photograph artists doing what they do best in different mediums, print making, ceramics and carpentry. The purpose of this is to show the unique environment that is about to be lost because of funding cuts from the government. Many people are writing letters and trying to find alternative funding to save this program before it’s lost, resulting in another outlet for artists disappearing.
