Morgan Jenkins, Architect

Captain Morgan is a person you want in your life. Whether it’s a conversation about something simple, like the weather, or just bumping into him on the street, his easy spirit and good nature will only leave you feeling inspired and centred. So it was with my visit to South Stradbroke Island. Mr. Jenkins scooped me up on a boat and we glided across the windy bumpy water to the island where his family has a getaway ‘shack’ community. Back to the basics, tank water, fire and the ocean! Almost sounds like I’m writing a travel brochure...except not. No I guess it doesn’t really sound like one. New RULE, I cannot backspace what I write, only spelling mistakes. Otherwise it will be like reading a third grade poem about a dog jumping the fence.

The Pixel Trade, due to other trades, could only last a single day. In this single day Morgan wanted me to capture the mood of this place for the family. It’s a place they have, to get away from the world and enjoy the sweeter things. So we got to eat some great food, watch the storms roll in off the ocean and just basically become like Morgan. Relaxed, centred and inspired.
