Chara Caruthers, Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist

Chara taught me that yoga doesn’t have to practiced in a gazebo, on top of the Himalayas. It can be done in an untidy garage. I also learnt Ayurvedic therapy is not just about raw organic ingredients, but how you live your life. Every aspect. That’s why we enjoyed the thick heavy fondue the first night I was there. Because it put us cheese lovers in a positive mindset.

The Pixel Trade was photographing images that Chara can use for her yoga and Ayurvedic  teachings under BlissBody&Soul. Being so close to the beach, that’s where we started. The focus was to show the enjoyment of a healthy life. We ended up finishing up underneath a bridge, where just above was a highway of cars and trucks roaring above. We both found peace as she did yoga and I photographed. Despite the roaring of machines.
