Probably the shortest trade to date. I came off a 70m high cherry picker in the outskirts of Melbourne and Sian scooped me up in her car and cruised off to Ladro Restaurant, where I’d be photographing a function for her. EST magazine is a free, online visual library of Australian and International design, created by Sian and her business partner, Lynda Evans.

These two creative ladies were hosting a function which showcased a handful of designers who went to the most recent Milan design fair. The space I was photographing in was very familiar as I have done a trade with Ladro Restaurant and drowned in the Italian tastes that poured out of the kitchen. As a result the night saw a similar enjoyment of such cuisine and wine that in a matter of moments the trade was over and I was in a cab to the next.
