All I knew with this trade was, three days were set aside for the shoot and a huge range of photographs needed to be taken. I rocked up to Boy Blue’s new showroom after being amongst cows for the previous few days and looking a bit like Moses. It was like grazing by the riverside on a Sunday afternoon, when a friendly grizzly bear suddenly sends you into a cartoon run of feet first and body after... except in a good way. On the first evening it was decided because their deadline for the new catalogue was just around the corner, the last day of shooting would require two major location jumps.
The Pixel Trade with Boyd Blue started in Melbourne, the new space was full of designer furniture, home wares and many other hidden pieces of glory that needed to be snapped. On the final day I was up before the sun and shooting in the Gold Coast showroom by breakfast. A few hours later, back into transport and up to the Brisbane to spend Friday afternoon clicking away. By the end of it, I was enjoying a cold beverage with the two girls who worked there and was able to stop and think what happened over the last three days. Then came the night...
