Jessica Winchcombe, jewellery designer
To give you a taste of the afternoon you need to imagine colours (spelt the English way). Lots of colours. Then comes the witty playfulness of a jewellery designer shown through the use of crazy costumes and circus stilts. Add this to a beautiful valley setting outside of Queenstown, whilst the afternoon sun says, ‘Adios!’. This was the experience of trading with Jessica Winchcombe and her jewellery designs.
The Pixel Trade involved all of the above elements in one sitting. Reflecting on the shoot I probably shouldn’t have asked Jessica to stand on the stilts right next to a huge drop off, which would’ve resulted in Queenstown’s medical team racing into the valley to save a freak accident. Fortunately this scenario didn’t happen and the worst of it was when the girls had to lay in cold dirty water, in an almost empty pool.
