Kitchensurfing, Headquarters
There are times in your life when you might be better off thinking a situation through in great detail...and moments when it’s not necessary. For example when you’re contemplating whether or not you can steal constable Dick Johnson’s police hat, this is a moment to think it through. When a man by the name of Bo asks if you want to trade for 3 days photographing food and chefs in the kitchen of their headquarters, only to enjoy the flavours on your slippery tongue afterwards...Not only do you NOT need to think it through but you may as well open up your head, grab the brain and throw it in the bin on the corner of 34th and 7th.
The Pixel Trade was set in the headquarters of Kitchensurfing, a company that is built around respect and appreciation for flavours and food which take you back to riding your first pony or any moment where bliss was at 100%. I was photographing some of the newly signed up chefs and capturing their skills and disposition whilst they showed the team what they’re made of. Kitchensurfing is currently in Berlin and New York and spreading to the rest of the world so keep your two eye balls open for the launch date in your city.
