Tumblr, Headquarters

Tumblr is a blog hosting platform which at the time of writing this has 87.2 million blogs, 39.2 billions posts and 133 employees. Do you know how many pretzels it would take to feed all those posts? Whilst I didn’t have enough time to view all 39.2 billion posts I did have time to meet some of the groovy minds behind this incredible platform. The headquarters of Tumblr was like a blog itself, an atmosphere of art, lining the walls, creative design and business wherever you like and playfulness in the corners one of which has table tennis matches taking place.

The Pixel Trade brought my leather bound shoes into different parts of their headquarters to photograph details and interiors. Following this I went to the roof with the editorial team to play a game of portrait and group photography. At the end of the day I watched the sun create silhouettes of water tanks on nearby rooftops and people hailing yellow cabs below.
