Dublin Flea Market
Once a month fleas and humans get together to put on a market. A market with objects that are full of stories and often history and even sometimes, fleas. You will come across old war heroes and kids who only think of the next sugar hit. In other words Dublin Flea Market is a mecca for diversity. The organisers also started a little something for local artists and designers. Each month a different artist makes the poster for that months flea market and is printed as a limited edition run. The artist gets all the profit and a small group of people get a unique piece of work.
The Pixel Trade was to capture the market and put together a little stop motion to promote an exhibition coming up for the posters, on the 16th November 2013. Each night the organisers of the Dublin Flea Market have a big dinner to celebrate... well just because it’s a good reason to have a big dinner. So out we went and that night, something cheeky happened in the streets of Dublin.
