I looked up the definition of a palm tree and this is what the description was, ‘an unbranched evergreen tree of tropical and warm regions, with a crown of very long feathered or fan-shaped leaves, and typically having old leaf scars forming a regular pattern on the trunk’. I then punched in hotel, ‘an establishment providing accommodation, meals, and other services for travelers and tourists, by the night’.

The Pixel Trade with The Palms Hotel & Spa, followed these descriptions to the absolute. I strolled amongst the trees in the warm summer Miami heat, I ate tropical fresh food and found a group of stretchy humans doing a grounding practice called yoga. The three days I stayed here blew by with such ease, I felt like a palm tree.
