TERra New York | Designer Rainwear

When it rains it pours. When it rains fashion gets thrown down the drain as one has to cover up using a bulky raincoat or umbrella, which can become slightly dysfunctional in high winds. Yurika Nakazono & Marie Saeki, the founders of TERra New York, realised this issue and decided to create ‘innovative designer rainwear‘ so that the ladies in the world who want to look sharp and stay fashionable can, wind, rain or hail.

The Pixel Trade was a concept we explored based on the search for water. If you have designer rainwear that looks like this you naturally want it to always rain so you can wear it. We shot three videos, one of which you can see below, which show different situations of women looking for water or being rather gluttonous about finding a tap and not sharing with others.
